Straight Six WebClips

Hello,
Welcome to webclips, let’s start with something a little different, you all know that I am a keen photographer so how about “camera wars”….it’s just a bit of fun! http://bit.ly/RmCDtf
And now for an all-electric E36 Pikes Peak race car…and it sounds awesome, well, it actually doesn’t sound much at all but Bill Caswell was making quite a lot of noise whilst test driving it! http://bit.ly/OLOGDR
I am a big fan of slow motion and HD video, this next clip is right on topic for that subject and it’s about racing so I think you’ll like it, http://bit.ly/MncJcA , some of the clips in there you may have seen before but overall it’s a great video.
Chris Tranter sent me the next two, the first is of Sean Treacy in his BMW 2002: http://bit.ly/MCvTXv and the second if from the 1979 M1 Procar series at Hockenheim, http://bit.ly/T5WT5k Many thanks to Chris for sending through the clips.
The next clip is absolutely awesome (and I do mean that!), it’s from the USA and it’s all about the Henessey Venom GT, this is essentially a Lotus Exige, but there is little of the original left. It has 1200+ BHP and a theoretical top speed of 272 MPH…be amazed….. http://bit.ly/NeihBc
Something a little slower now, ever heard of “hydro graphics”? I hadn’t until I watched this video, it’s brilliant the way they apply the graphics by floating the film on water, yes, you heard me correctly…now watch the video and see the results: http://bit.ly/OuNxws
By now you have probably all seen Ken Block’s latest “Gymkhana” but just in case…have a look at this WRC driver cum stunt man and see how many sets of tyres he can get through to create a 10 minute video http://bit.ly/QzfB7U
Slowing down the pace a little, here’s something called a time lapse video, 3000 photos were used to create this video of an engine for a Triumph Spitfire, lots of patience was also needed by the sounds of it http://bit.ly/Qm5YH6
And finally, a non-car related link, this is stunning, using remote controlled aeroplanes with DragonLink fitted which allows them to fly further away (higher and lower also), add to that the use of GoPro HD cameras and you have a great sequence of videos http://bit.ly/Qm6GnX
