This months webclips

Hello,
Welcome to this months webclips, I’m going to start with something completely mad, clearly these guys have money to burn and no sense of self-preservation or the preservation of life in general
http://bit.ly/qoGCgG . I was watching a YouTube channel that had lots of car adverts on it and noticed that Honda have done some really cracking ones, first up “the cog” http://bit.ly/o2jYox then “impossible dreams” http://bit.ly/q6i683. This next one is a Shell advert for V-Power fuel, I haven’t seen it on TV, it’s very good though http://bit.ly/qPpqsj .
Back to an old favourite of mine, some time ago BMW got several famous directors to create short films that featured BMW cars, they were all a bit so-so apart from this one with Clive Owen and Madonna http://bit.ly/nrjp4y there’s a great driving sequence and it’s almost funny too!
Here’s a funny one, it’s a twist on the “Police Stop!” videos we see so much of on TV, but with an alternative commentary, and a different set of tactics too! http://bit.ly/pn6IUs
Let’s move away from cars for a minute, the guy in the next two videos is called Jeb Corliss, he’s a well know “wing suit” flyer, the first is called “Grinding the Crack”, it will become more obvious when you watch the video… http://bit.ly/pfAThr and I think you’ll agree that he’s completely nuts! The next one is a bit of a compilation, slow to get started but get’s better: http://bit.ly/ru8g5z
Here’s an interesting article that Jalopnik ran a few weeks ago, talking about car design, and how they are all becoming the same, food for thought? http://jalo.ps/oWuInE
Green Hell fly and drive with the new M5, I think we know what they will be saying don’t we? http://bit.ly/owiVx1
Here’s one a member sent me, it’s from the Tour de corse  in 1992, it’s of Patrick Bernardini in a BMW M3 E30, the video quality isn’t brilliant but his skills in the tight confines of the narrow roads and villages is, and it sounds brilliant. http://bit.ly/qKNLLk
And finally, make sure your pride and joy is trapped down properly when you go to the rolling road or this might happen: http://bit.ly/rcNTyG
That’s it for this month, oh, no, not quite, can’t resist this little video from BMW promoting “M”, especially as it has a rather nice Z4MC in it! http://bit.ly/pKGbZR

WebClips update

Hello,  Welcome to webclips, I’m to start this month with a bit of a “garage” theme, some are great because of the garage and the way it is equipped, others because of what is in them, here’s a few to be jealous of:
If your garage is too small why not add another “layer”: http://tinyurl.com/3l8f9uf, But how about something a little more “industrial”, here’s RoboVault: http://tinyurl.com/3ua2hw7 ,a blast from my past, Vanilla Ice’ garage refurb: http://tinyurl.com/3qt8cxn, and finally a superb garage that just happens to be owned by a BMW enthusiast.. http://tinyurl.com/4ywqybq.
This will definitely have you rewinding, an Alvis Stalwart driving into a lake at full speed!  http://youtu.be/3mr_pCrhTkk it just goes to show how well these things are put together.
Some photo’s next, I found these stunning photos of a drag racing accident on Jalopnik, there’s also a video in the article somewhere… http://tinyurl.com/3d583kh
Back to BMW, on the forum recently a member shared a link to an old video of an E21/E30 being built, here’s an up to date time lapse style video of the latest 3 series production line:  http://tinyurl.com/3kmjhf5
I would appreciate some help with this next one, it’s called the “BMW Observer Coupe”, developed by MGA…anyone have any background information? http://tinyurl.com/3esx57c
A bit of fun, but not strictly legal, the fasted lap of the Manhatten island in New York:
And finally, from Fifth gear, Tiff scares Jason….. http://tinyurl.com/3eezzek
