Webclips 27

Hello,
Welcome to webclips, first off this month a look at the work of Bodie Stroud, an American custom hot rod builder and he “re-imagining” of a classic Mustang, it’s great viewing: http://bit.ly/UaTrp2
I have paint protection film on the front of my car and I have seen many cars with coloured “wraps” but I have never seen a car that has been sprayed with plastic, I think this is a relatively new thing from the USA, the company is called “Dip Your Car” and it seems that they have some very interesting paint products http://bit.ly/Ykm3hl
This next item is courtesy of Michelin; it’s a series of videos about people with a driving passion, there’s items about the Porsche 918 Spyder, Georges Blanc, Olaf Manthey anf Goodwood: http://bit.ly/V6IWnO
Can you imagine driving into the car park of something like Demon Tweeks and attempting to do an engine swap right there? To top it off the store that these guys chose also stayed open late in order to help them out! http://bit.ly/UvolfH
This next one is a bit of a favourite of mine, it’s Bugatti’s head of designs personal Porsche 911 and all of the mods that he has done to personalise and improve the car, very interesting to watch: http://bit.ly/Ykr6OL
You know I like burn outs, well this really is the last work in burnouts, the power this beast has is immense, they even set fire to the scenery… http://bit.ly/YQ0zxI
For this next one you need to be both an M3 nut and have plenty of time spare (an hour and a half actually) as it’s various E30 M3’s tearing up the rally stages….I enjoyed the bits I watched http://bit.ly/TrzFHt
This next one is almost the exact opposite of that M3 one, very quiet, refined and thoughtful…..it’s Andy Green in a Bentley…maxing it out on the Bonneville Salt Flats: http://bit.ly/TleI2g
These next few were sent to me by Chris Tranter, a V12 Le Mans engine X5: http://bit.ly/YQ6H99 A 1987 AMSCAR Amaroo race: http://bit.ly/UvsLDj  and an E9 CSL at Road Atlanta  http://bit.ly/12IdMsv Chris is a regular contributor to this column and I’d like to thank him for his support.
And finally, here’s a nice bit of history from BMW, various pages with cars and history and also videos on design, characteristics, inspiration etc, all very interesting: http://bit.ly/VgQfZk
